Q: What was it like dancing for the Kirov Academy? A: Very hard. Q. How old were you when you first started attending the Kirov? A. Ten years old. Q. How long were you there? A. Eight years. Q. With the Vaganove method, what were the requirements for training? A. Three hours per day, fifteen hours per week minimum. This is not including other classes. Q. Have you been learning the Vaganova Technique all of your dancing career? A. Yes. Q. Do You feel the Vaganova technique is the most important technique for a dancer to learn? A. Yes. Q. Do you think that all dancers should at least learn the basics of the technique? A. Yes. Q. What do you feel are the main points of this particular technique? A.
