McCreary is Ward 2 within Turtle River School Division #32, with one elected representative on the board. Division Office Headquarters and bus garage are located in McCreary. Eleven teachers, Principal, Vice Principal, Secretary and Librarian, Resource Teacher and Educational Assistants provide educational services to 165 students. French is taught from K to 6. Music is available for K to 6 students. Band is taught in Grades 5 - 7. Technology Education including computer drafting are taught in Grades 7 - 12. The school is equipped with computer equipment for Distance Education course options. Computer Education begins at Grade 1. Computer Awareness, Accounting, Software Applications, and Marketing are taught in grades 7 to 12. A school paper and yearbook offer additional education experiences. Continuing and Distance Education provide a wide range of subjects to mature students or those who have a special interest. These are provided through the Parkland campus of Assiniboine Community College and Inter Universities North. Nursery School for ages 3 and 4 is available every Kindergarten Day from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Day Care, with flexible hours, is also available for infants and children aged 13 weeks to 12 years.
