"Our Superstitions"
The Superstition Wilderness is a favorite destination for the Wander Women.  There are so many trails out there...
... and so many angles from which to see Weaver's Needle!
Carolina's son, John VanZile, always joins the Wander Women for Siphon Draw!

Many trailheads in the Superstitions require 4WD or HC vehicles for access (which none of us have).    If anyone would like to donate a 4WD, HC monster truck thingy to "A Worthy Cause", please let us know - we will bestow upon you an 'Honorary Founding Membership' - plus we'll be your friends for life!   :)

Please note:  Many of the more remote wilderness areas require marginal to good route-finding skills.   Additionally, many "unofficial" trails branch off from those found on the map - and can easily disorient the beginning hiker.  We at Wander Women Mountaineering urge people not to hike alone without adequate experience and preparation!
"I see the usefulness of climbing not in the further development of technique, rather in the development of the instinct and proficiency of man to extend himself."  - Reinhold Messner
