Resume
Our education is a TOTAL education of our kids. They just learn read, write, science and technology are just not enough. They also need to learn the social ethics, as well the responsibilities as a citizen of living in this society. It is our duty as educators to do this, so as the technology facilitators. Actually, technology facilitators are playing more important roles than classroom teachers, since they are the media who bring the technology to the teachers and then to the classrooms.

As it is indicated by Twomey, etc., for a technology facilitator just has the knowledge of copyright law is not enough, “you must demonstrate how candidates assist teachers in recognizing and addressing use of copyright laws and images, music, video and other digital resources.” (p. 47). The works I did and have been doing, a part of them as shown in the artifacts listed below, give teachers, as well students, the guide lines via different means. A copy right on-line orientation gives the 24/7 access, the “one-page copy right guide line chart” is displayed in the media center right in front of the copy machine. Issues on ethic use of resources, as well as material selection policy guide lines and procedures are detailed in the web published Science Park High School Library Media Center Policy Menu and the Long Range Science Park High School Library Media Center Technology Plan.

To support our teachers in more efficient way on plagiarism preventing, I subscribe and administrate the Turn-it-in service for our school. To support our special ED teachers and students of diverse background and abilities, I carefully selected on-line databases for this group, such as “Visual Thesaurus”, “McGraw-Hill Science Database”, etc.
