WebQquest
CONCLUSION
and
PRESENTION
applications on linear functions
Congragulations! After days of hard working, you are approaching the final line now.

Ar the completion of this project, your group is asked to generate a 5 to 7 minutes PowerPoint presentation, preferablly enhanced with multimedia technologies, in front of the class. Such presentation should include following elements:

1. The 1996-2005 SAT-MATH scores of the state you chose,  identify the web site and data bases you have used;

2. The spread sheet with which you organized your data;

3. The "x-y coordinate" scattet plot / graph from the spread sheet;

4. Show the steps on how you generated the best fitting line;

5. Show the equation of the best fitting line and explain on how you get it;

6. Use the linear equation theory to find out the rate of changing;

7. Show the class the projected (predicted) SAT-MATH score in year of 2010, clearly explain the steps to get the final results.

8. Briefly answer following "follow-up questions"

  a. How did this WebQuest project reinforced your Web search, Algebra and Computer (spread sheet, graphing, slide presentation, etc.) skills?

  b. How did the provided Web/Database resources help you to complete the assignment? Any suggestions? If you have used the Web or Database resources other than provided, list them on the last page of your PowerPoint slide.
