In the past fur has
been though to be a symbol of style, but today people are finally realizing more
and more that animals should not be dying for our fashion. The people who
do still choose to participate in this ancient ice-age ritual probably never
stop to think about the animals in which they have taken the lives of.
Around 3.5 Million are killed every year for their fur by trappers just in the
U.S. Another 2.7 Million animals are raised to be killed on fur farms.
Despite what fur companies claim by stating that fur is back in style, the truth
is that people are realizing how horrible fur is, and sales are rapidly
declining. However, the battle is still going on, people are still
dumbfoundly buying useless fur apparel. In order for this to stop people
need to speak out against fur. The animals can't so it's up to us.
