Hello everyone and welcome to the new layout for my website. First of all, thank you for coming. I very much appreciate visitors and would love if you would sign my guestbook on the way out. The new theme of Wendy's NeverLand is the Darling Nursery along with victorian toys and the Peter Pan's Flight melody from Walt Disney World. I can not take credit for the beautiful layout and amazing picture done for this page. The layout is the work of Alice Hawkins and the art was done by Amy Paulson. I will add links for you to
contact them and to get to their webpages
soon. Please take a look around and have
fun. Please report any kind of error you
have found
here.

Special Holiday Occaisons
Wendy appears in parades for various holidays celebrated in Disney as well as her costume changes for Christmas. In Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Parade Wendy and Peter are always there singing and dancing, along with their festive trick-or-treat pumpkins! I believe this parade takes place in Disney World as well as Disneyland, CA, however the pictures below are from the Walt Disney World parade in 2002 and 2003. For more information go here.
.
When December rolls around you might notice a change in Wendy's costume. It is long-sleeved with an overcoat; this is, not only, to be festive but it also for the protection of the actresses; even December in Florida can be pretty cold. Disney also has some other costume alterations for the colder months, which you can see below. In Tokyo Disneyland Wendy's costume even has holly on it. This is exclusive to Japan's park and will not be seen anywhere else. You will also see Wendy at the beginning of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Parade (Walt Disney World) with Peter Pan. This parade takes place after the park closes for the seven days leading up to Christmas and you need special reservations to be admitted. There is snow on Main Street, a firework show, and cookies and hot chocolate given away throughout the park. It is a lot of fun! For mroe information go here.

Going on the Disney Cruise Line? Here's a little secret, this is probably one of the easiest ways to meet Wendy. Not only do they have a special even called, ''Tea With Wendy' but she is also always doing character greets on the boat (sometimes with Hook and Smee). You will not be able to meet Peter Pan there, but he is in one of the theatrical plays they have on the ship.
Tea With Wendy is an event for young children who want to meet Wendy (and have tea too). It is in Studio Sea on the boat and it is sort of like a small performance. Everyone is seated at small tables with iced tea and cookies and after everyone has come in a cast member tells everyone the history of tea in England. Then Wendy comes out and tells everyone the story of Peter Pan, she tells everyone how to drink their tea, and then everyone gets to take pictures with Wendy. It is not more then 15 minutes long, so you don't need to worry about it taking up too much of your day. However you need to have tickets to the event, which are available outside Studio Sea a day prior. I believe it takes place twice in one cruise.
If you want to just take a picture with Wendy you can see when she will appear in the ship's main lobby. There is a sign by the elevators that lists what characters are appearing that day and when they are appearing. When I was on the Magic Wendy had character greets everyday, so don't wirry about missing her.
Here's a little Wendy's NeverLand secret: The entrance and exit to where the characters come in and out is in the photograph shop on the ship near the counter on the side that will lead you to the lobby. If you're waiting in line for Wendy, but they cut off the line you still have a chance. The characters will go up the main stairs and then head towards the photograph shop. If you go down the hallway on the main floor, then up the stairs to the photograph shop, and wait near the door where the characters will leave you can still get a picture. You must have your camera ready, and do not expect a professional picture. (Cast members will not use your camera.) When they come in just ask for a quick picture and they will not deny it. If Smee and Hook are there also don't bother trying to get them together, because those are very hot costumes and when they get a break it's best you let them.
You can also see Wendy on the last night of the cruise when the characters say goodbye. You will, not only, see all the characters, but all the stage performers also. They stay there for about a half an hour, so you can get pictures.

These are all pictures from Tea With Wendy. The blurry picture was actually promotional material for the ship.  When Wendy tells the story of Peter Pan she really has the mannerisms of Wendy and sounds just like her. You will be amazed!

Going to Japan?
Going to Japan?
I have just recently realized how active TokyoDisneyLand is with parades and events. There may be more going on there than Disney World. Wendy can be found all over the park as well in many of the character parades, especially the holiday parades. Just a little FYI about the characters in Tokyo: they are auditioned in the California, if they get the part they learn simple phrases in Japanese, and then fly to work in Japan for a set period of time.
