Wait Hold up! Open your mind for a second, do yourself a great favor and read this to the end. The Northern Star is one of the most majestic inhabitants of the sky. Sure, the moon is a luminous white & the sun emits a golden ray of light, however the Northern Star is the most dramatic, projecting bright lights of varying colors.

Eventually the blinking lights may struggle, to shine forth in a battle for supremacy, as the clouds attempt to cover the star, morphing from transparent to translucent to eventually opaque. During this process, the N.S. struggles for dominance in an effort to emit it's light. Soon enough it loses the battle and is fully covered by clouds. But the star shall shine again.

Without doubt, this is life. Like the star we rise and we fall. Just when everything seems to be going alright some unexpected news enters your life, and you ask yourself, "How could this be?" At one time we feel capable, almost effortlessly getting by. On the other hand at times we feel down, unable to make it through (life), virtually powerless and less than the ideal. However the battle is not ours, quite frankly it is the Lord's. We have no need to ever feel down nor despondent.

To put it plain and simple we are told; Come to me, all that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest (Matthew:11:30). Friends will come and go but God will be there for sure. If you think that there is no need to believe in God, then seriously is there anything better to believe in? Is there any concept better to believe in to maintain sanity, to find hope and to go on with life full of optimism?

To be honest with you, I never knew I could be so happy, nor did I know that I could be so secure. Because I let God in, my life has a whole new meaning. God will never fail you, if you think he did, soon understanding he will bring. You do not need to call or send an e-mail, because Jesus is just a prayer away. The next time you are down, think of yourself as the Northern Star because you will rise again.
