Washington Area Attractions

During tourist season, several of the attractions listed here go to "timed admissions," which means you will be assigned a time for admission, and may not be admitted upon your arrival. Severall attractions run out of tickets EARLY. If you have a special interest in visiting a particular site and the site offers advanced purchase or reservations, we recommend securing your tickets as early as possible.

The Marriott Crystal Gateway is at Crystal City on the Yellow and Blue lines.

M: denotes the Metro stop for the attraction.


In Washington

Smithsonian Institutions M: Take Blue to Smithsonian Station.



International Spy Museum M: Take Yellow to Metro Center then Red to Gallery Place/Chinatown Station.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial M: Take Blue to Foggy Bottom Station.

FBI Tour M: Take Blue to Federal Triangle Station. ***Closed until further notice, though. Check the website for updates.

United States Holocaust Museum M: Take Blue to Smithsonian Station.

Washington Monument M: Take Blue to Smithsonian Station.

National Zoo M: Take Blue or Yellow to Red to Cleveland Park Station. ***Tip: Take the Metro to the Cleveland Park station and walk south (downhill) to the zoo. When you leave, continue south (downhill) to the Woodley Park/Zoo station.

Bureau of Engraving and Printing M: Take Blue to Federal Triangle Station. BEP Tours are being arranged for Friday afternoon and Monday morning.
