Well, I can give You an idea, assuming You lose You life and the Railroad was involved. Unless My Attorney's are lying to Me, Your life is worth $341,250.00 to the loved ones You left behind, accourding to the laws of the State of Colorado. I know because My father just died as a result of injures from an accident at a railroad crossing that occured almost two years ago. Three years before My Fathers' accident, I blew a tire out on My truck at that crossing. The Railroad told Me They would repair the crossing then. But, almost FIVE years later and after the loss of my Father, absolutely nothing has been done to "REPAIR" that crossing! Every time I leave or come home, I have to use that crossing, even to pick up My mail. I am constantly reminded of the ubelievable contempt the Raillroad has for public saftety and even human life... They do not care as long as They can maintain Their profits and with Their "BIG MONEY" influence on "OUR" law makiers, We, the "LITTLE PEOPLE" are just so much 'dust' to be brushed away, if in fact we are even thought of at all. Doesn't that make You feel Proud to be an American? Personally, it makes Me ashamed that I didn't do My part sooner in ensuring Our goverment was represtenting Us like it should! |
