2004:

Contract working as a legal researcher and writer for the law office of Joseph G. Canepa begins. Taxes filed online for Alphonse Salernitano. In February, final article for The Mudpuppy published.

2003:

Taxes filed online for Alphonse Salernitano. Website created for Agnes Catherine Treasures. Volunteer work writing five articles for The Mudpuppy, the periodical publication of the Barony of Settmour Swamp in the Society for Creative Anachronism. Chinese Personas 101 published on baronial website.

2002:

In February, Wedding Gazette article published, "Ten Ways To Have A Chinese Wedding." In June, completion of the Racket Recordz and Ideale Publishing contracts. In December, whitejade.com domain name lost. White Jade website shifted to oocities.com.

2001:

January through August, contract with CaGiMa Institute results in the writing of three textbooks in addition to teaching two terms at the Institute. cagimacom.com and a site for a private artist are constructed during contract.

2000:

White Jade Design moves to current location in East Orange, New Jersey. Small business services are offered for the first time. Contract with Racket Recordz and its subsidiary, Ideale Publishing, begins. Racketrecordz.com and Idealepublishing.com created as part of the contract.

1999:

Completion of graduate studies in Chinese. Int'l added to White Jade Design name.

1998:

February 13th, West Ottawa Bridal Fair features the gowns of White Jade Design. After successful show, production begins on Iowa City Fashion Show which is held on or about May 10th. In December, whitejade.com becomes the new home of White Jade Design. Website is completely redesigned and a new approach is made to the company.

1996:

First White Jade website established. Name changed from White Jade Floral and Jewelry Design to White Jade Design. Laurel begins graduate studies at the University of Iowa in Chinese.

1995:

May 6th, Laurel A. Rockefeller graduates from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She does so as a "Superior Scholar" (top 3% of graduating class and 7 semesters on the Deans List) with a graduating class of 2900 undergraduates and approximately 4730 total 1995 graduates. She also becomes one of only thirty-one initiates out of the class of 1995 into the Alpha of Nebraska Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa and the only one of those thirty-one to achieve it with a triple major.

1994:

In March, Laurel inducted into the Golden Key honor society. In August, 1994, Laurel A. Rockefeller decides to formally convert knowledge of gemstones, arts and crafts, sewing, weddings, and history into a new home based business called White Jade Floral and Jewelry Design. The first commissioned project is undertaken: a set of ceramic runes and an amulet featuring the astrologically-based birthstones of the client and specific handmade rune pendants requested by the client. The project was a terrific success. Shortly thereafter, Laurel is inducted into Phi Alpha Theta honor society for excellence in the field of History.

1993:

Laurel Rockefeller learns the craft of wedding consulting via soc.culture.weddings and on BBS ISCA. Begins generating the source materials that become the first FAQs for the first White Jade website. Initiation into first college honor society, Psi Chi, for excellence in the study of Psychology.
