In Medieval time, ladies were always wearing something on their heads. Now there is only one shop in Montreal that does this but I don’t really want a hat. I think a hair net is a good idea but I know it is more of a renaissance look. A lot of people can’t seem to make the difference between these two periods. Pattern I have use simplicity 5740. Fabric I have used a silver elastic but a little cord can be use too. You will need about 24-26 m of elastic and about 1-1.5 m of cord to attach it. The pattern is very small. I made it larger to obtain a good size because my hair is very long. Therefore, I used more material than the pattern sugested. Advice It takes a long time to make, so if you’re not patient, I don’t recommend you try this project. |
