| First, I am going to tell you a little about some of my own experiences with Roleplaying: For about 8 years I have been a huge Advanced Dungeons & Dragons fan, it was the first roleplaying game I ever tried and I must say, that from the very first time I sat down with a couple of my good friends, I got enchanted by the excitement and the breath-taking atmosphere that can come forth, when you let your imagination run wild. To suddenly be able to step into another world, a world of adventure, magic, romance and last but not least, great heroes and villains. To be able to take on a role, as a brave knight fighting off dragons to save the princess or to experience the life of a mysterious wizard, using the ancient powers of magic, to cast his powerful spells. In other words, roleplaying gives you the chance, to do something, that you never would be able to do in real life. Even though it takes place in your imagination, it can, with a touch of passion, become an experience that even surpasses that, of reality. |
