Wiccans / Witches do not worship Satan in any way; we do not believe there is a Satan. The "devil" is an ancient Christian creation, a deliberate corruption of the Pagan Horned God, which was worshipped for ages before Christianity. Making the pagan gods into evil creatures was their most reliable way of gaining converts and destroying the Pagan way of worship.
     The Horned God, who goes by many different names depending on the place -- in Greece they call him Pan, Cernnunos to the Celts -- is not evil in any way. He is a nature god, the energy of nature, of all plant and animal life. His energy manifests for us in music, dancing, lovemaking, etc., anything joyful and full of nature.
     We believe that life is fundamentally good, that creation and destruction are part of the natural processes of life. There is evil in the world, of course, but it doesn't come from any "devil" or "Satan"; it comes from people -- their actions, not their nature. (Human nature is innately good.) Evil is also subjective -- one man's evil is another man's good.
     The gods and goddesses of the Craft are neither evil or good; they are neither and they are both, the same way any force of nature is -- fire, weather, wild animals, etc.. If they have a tendency toward one or the other, it is usually toward the positive. They give us power but how we use it is up to us. Which brings us back to the Wiccan Rede again -- "An it harm none, do what thou wilt". This power we are given is also subject to the Threefold Law, or the Law of Threefold Return -- what you give out comes back to you three times over. You know the old saying, "what goes around, comes around"? This is what the Law of Threefold Return is; some refer to is as "karma". I know from personal experience, as well as observation, that there is no avoiding this Law whether you believe it exists or not.
     If you practice "evil" ways, you are perpetuating evil, for it will come back to you. The same goes for positive, "white", practices. So, you see, "evil" and "Satan" are not things we believe in or work with. We are healers, protectors, practitioners of nature. We will protect ourselves if necessary, but we will not initiate any attack for any reason.
     Plain and simple:

1. We don't believe in or worship Satan. (How can you worship something you don't believe in?)   and
2. We are not, and do not practice, "evil" or "black magick".
