We are of the Old Ways, among those who walk with Mother Earth and Great Spirit, and receive Their love.
Everything is an inseparable part of the One that is the Whole. Everything is completely and intimately linked with everything else.
Honor all living things. Those of our Way are kind to all creatures, for hurtful thoughts are quite draining and aren't worth the loss of energy. Misery is self-created; so is joy. So create joy and disdain misery and unhappiness. And this is within your power. So harm not.
Keep your Celebrations to the best of your abilities, for to do otherwise is to lessen your connection with Mother Earth and Great Spirit. They show Their involvement with us every day, we must show our involvement with Them.
Everything is born of Woman. All life comes into being through the feminine aspect, and therefore Woman should be honored and respected. The Earth is our Mother.
Harm none. This, the oldest Law, is not open to interpretation or change. Harm none includes yourself.
Nothing must be done to hurth the children. This implies more than just being harmless. Future generations and the future of humanity, and therefore one's own future evolvement, rests with the children. To harm a child is therefore to harm one's own future.
Ensure that your actions are honorable, for all that you do shall return to you three-fold, for good or bad.
Shed not blood in ritual; Mother Earth and Great Spirit do not need blood to be duly worshipped.
No drugs inside the circle, or outside, must ever be used; and alcohol is to be used very sparingly.
Teach only what you know, to the best of your ability, to those students whom you choose, but teach not to those who would use your instruction for destruction or control. Also, teach not to boost pride, for ever remember: She who teaches for vain-glory shall take no pride in her handiwork; she who teaches out of love shall be ever in the arms of Mother Earth and Great Spirit.
Mock not the rituals or spells of another, for who can say yours are greater in power or wisdom?
If ever the need arises, any law may be changed or discarded, and new laws written to replace, so long as the new laws do not break the oldest law of all: harm none.
Ever remember that if you would be of our Way, keep the Law and the Law Of The Power close to your heart, for it is the nature of Wicca to keep the Law.
Blessings of Mother Earth and Great Spirit on us all!
