| Women of Vision participates with the Small Business Administration in efforts to assist women entrepreneurs in helping ensure success of their business ventures. In 1998, an all day seminar was planned. It was initiated by the Small Business Administration and Women of Vision was enlisted as a sponsor for the event entitled Pathways to Progress. It was a highly successful event, bringing together nearly 200 women for an all day program of lectures and break out sessions on the many problems faced by first time entrepreneurial efforts. This successful program was repeated in 1999. In 2000, it was decided to hold a series of morning seminars, spread over a period of months, offering 2 hour sessions with topics such as: Taxes Take the Biggest Bite, Financial Management & Managing Cash Flow and Growth, Financing Options for Your Business, Investing in Your Business & Your Employees, Marketing Your Business, Product & Service, Mentoring for Success & Networking. The Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET) was born. WNET continues to offer opportunities for women to get the information that they need to grow their companies.
