 Petra
is an ancient city situated at some 250 Kilometres
south-west Amman. It was the capital of the Arabian
Nabataean Kingdom. The Roman Emperor Trajan occupied
it in A.D. 106. Petra was a very rich city during the
Nabataean period.It reached a very high level in civilization.
The Nabataeans were famous in architecture and this
is reflected on their buildings.....
