Formerly a construction worker, RJ recently went to work as a trainer at The Library, a sports complex operated by Franco Bonelli. RJ specializes in training teens and young men in amateur and NHB wrestling. (Located in the French Quarter, The Library houses both a gym and a wrestling arena.)

RJ has an apartment in the Garden District of New Orleans with his roommate Jake.

R.J. likes to wrestle. He especially enjoys beating young cocky guys with muscles. He doesn't back down from a fight challenge and has a tendency to speak too quickly. When R.J. or his friends are threatened and he becomes angry, he has a will of iron and does not easily submit.

It is asking for trouble to gutpunch him during a wrestling match.

He fights fair, is honest, and has a strong sense of justice.

When Pecker (Ricco) was living on the streets of New Orleans, R.J. took him in and gave him a home. When Jamie wanted wrestling lessons, he turned to R.J. for help.

Over time, R.J has gone from being a loner to being a man with many friends. He is admired for both his integrity and his grit.
