REBECCA CORRY
Age: 35
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Day Job: Comedian

Rebecca Corry, an accomplished comedian and actress who describes her comedy as "random thoughts, stories with few segues - and kicking," was born and raised in the Seattle suburb of Kent, Washington…or as she likes to call it, "the El Camino-driving, mullet-wearing, one-toothed pregnant teen capital of the world."

Her start in comedy began, Corry says, "when I came out of my mother's womb thinking…what is this? Some kind of joke? The rest is history."

Corry lived in Chicago for 8 years, where she studied writing, acting and improvisation at theaters such as The Second City, Annoyance and Center Theater. After an 11-month run in the Chicago production of "Tony & Tina's Wedding" as the pregnant made-of-honor, Corry moved to Los Angeles. Immediately following her arrival she appeared at the HBO workspace in her first one-woman show, "Have You Ever Been Called a Dwarf?," shot a pilot for the Oxygen Network and was chosen to perform as a "New Face" at the Montreal Comedy Festival.

Soon after, Corry was in the feature film "Big Fat Liar," guest-starred on the sitcom "Yes, Dear" and was in a national commercial campaign for Gallo wine. She also performed stand-up at The Improv, The Ice House, The Comedy Store and Dublins.

Corry recently hosted the second season of "Mix It Up," the interior design show created and executive produced by Courtney Cox Arquette and David Arquette. She has also guest-starred on "The King of Queens," "The Bernie Mac Show," "The Wayne Brady Show" and NBC's "Late Friday." L.A. Weekly recently named her one-woman show, "Rebecca Corry with Balls," the comedy pick of the week.

Currently, Corry can be seen on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," on E!'s "101" series and headlining at comedy clubs and universities all over the country.

Interview
Why will YOU be the Last Comic Standing?
Wait? Who said that? Am I? Do you know something I don't?!

Funny is...
Adjective; beyond or deviating from the usual or expected. Experiencing odd bodily sensations.

What comedians do you admire and why?
Jamie Foxx, Ellen, Steve Martin, Dane Cook, George Carlin, Jim Carrey among many others. Why? They make me laugh.

Who do you see as your biggest competition?
Looking at other comedians as "competition" is ridiculous. For the love of God, people, just worry about yourself and what you're doing. Be supportive of everyone else trying to do the same thing. That being said, if I had to run a 5k against most comedians, I'd win. I'm a highly trained athlete.

What's the worst job you've ever had?
Delta Airlines Reservations. Shoe salesperson. 7-11 clerk. Taco Bell.Boogie's Diner. Diesel. The Chalet (cheese store). Murry's (disgusting pub). Lizzie McNeil's (another disgusting pub). Chicago Board of Trade. Santa Fe Café. Heartland Café (Organic hippie restaurant). Papa Aldos' (pizza parlour). Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery.

It's hard to pick just one.
