Rap-Metal is becoming bigger in the twenty-first century. P.O.D, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, and Shocore are all signs of this. Crazytown can now be added to the list. In 2000, Crazytown lead by vocalists Shifty Shellshock and Epic Mazur with two guitarists, one bassist, one drummer, and what almost every rap-rock band has a DJ, became big. The second single of off ther debut album was "Darkside" feauturing members of Orgy. The song was getting them some regonition. In winter 2000 Crazy Town released "Butterfly." The rock-rap-pop song was huge. It topped many rock/metal/rap and pop charts. It had mega airplay on MTV, and Muchmusic. In summer 2001 they went on the Ozz-Fest tour with Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Drowning Pool, and American Head Charge. In 2002 Crazy Town returned with a single writen on the Ozz-Fest "Drowning," and a new album "Darkhorse." Weezer's Rivers did recording for album. The album debuted at #120 on the Billboard charts. Crazy Town's "Drowning" didn't seem to be doing that good, so they said they could only relie on the fans to boost "Darkhorse's" success. It was most shocking because "The Gift Of The Game" went multi-platinum.
