Umi Umi is indeed very beautiful. That is the first thing people notice about her. She is also a great swordsman because at her Tokyo jr. high she is in fencing, the captain of the fencing team. Umi uses the power of water.

Umi has a temper and when something annoys her she will tell you . Mokona gets on her nerves all the time. She thinks he enjoys leading them in circles and that he leads them directly to monsters. Umi has a weakness though, when someone like Ferio calls her beautiful it goes to her head and she wants to let them do whatever they want.

Umi is the one that wants to go back to Tokyo the most. She dosen't want to miss the big fencing tournament. One day she wishes so bad for it that she is sent to a place that looks exactly like Tokyo , and she leaves her friends in a major crises. She comes back though as she realizes that she must protect Cephiro.
