It is unknown if the circumstances surrounding Graydon's birth and subsequent abadonment had anything to do with his intense hatered for mutants, but it's likely that it did have an effect on him. Creed keeps his lineage a closely guarded secret, prefering to live out his life as any normal human would, but with a mission to eradicate mutant kind.
In order to deal with the mutant situation, Creed founded the FoH (Friends of Humanity), to harrass the mutant menance and as a grass-roots party for his own political purposes. And being the ever loving mutant hating son that he is, Creed hired assassins in an attempt to eradicate both of his parents. He had his father captured and implanted with a bomb. When Sabretooth got the bomb removed and went after the master mind behind it all (Tribune), Birdie (Sabretooths's lover and hired assistant who had been using her telepathic powers to keep his rage in check.) came in to help. She linked Sabretooth's and Tribune's minds, and Sabretooth discovered that Tribune was his son Graydon. Unfortunately, Graydon then stabbed Birdie to death in order to torture his father and drive him nuts. |
