Heidi is also agile and wiry. She has inherited her father's flexibility and acrobatic skills, as well as her mother's determination and strength of will.
History: Heidi has had a remarkable journey into young adulthood and it all started from the time of her conception, actually even before that. Due to her mother's powers, Marian (Stitch) was having trouble getting pregnant, her body expelling the fetus before it ever had a chance to be implanted in her womb. Wanting a child so badly, she soon hit on idea and tricked Rogue into draining off enough of her powers to give the fetus a chance. Following that incident, Marian and her husband (Nightcrawler) soon found themselves expecting their first child, but it was a long and difficult pregnancy.
When Marian finally went into labor, it wasn't without complications. She soon realized that because of her powers, she couldn't have a child through conventional means nor have a C-Section, which meant that both she and the unborn child could die. But not to be daunted, and as head strong as her mother, the infant took matters into own hands, literally, by using her powers and displacing her mother's womb long enough for her to enter the world.
Shortly after Heidi's birth, she was abducted by the six-armed, sword-wielding teleporter from another dimension known as Spiral. She was taken back to Mojo World, along with several other infants possessing the X-Factor gene, to be raised and trained as part of an elite fighting force of soldiers and assasians. While on Mojo World, Heidi grew into a young woman, but the elapsed time on earth had only two days. Therefore, when Spiral finally returned the children to the planet of their birth and they finally encountered their parents, it was with mix emotions on both sides. Heidi was suddenly thrust into a situation she wasn't prepared for. First the realization that Spiral had lied to her and then coming to terms with the knowledge that she had parents who loved her.
Heidi is currently trying to cope with her 'new' world and is striving to get to know her parents. It remains to be seen however, what will happen if or when she is called upon to put her training into use by the woman she once thought of as her mother. |
