| About Ground Control Tom McCamus: Ground Control is the official website of award-winning Canadian actor Tom McCamus. It started up in 2001 as a humble fansite, following the surge of interest in Tom and his work following the debut season of Mutant X. The next year, in 2002, the Ground Control crew went to the Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada, to see Tom in two plays - Richard III and The Threepenny Opera. We also saw Tom's wife, the lovely Chick Reid, in a new play by Timothy Findley - Shadows. Along the way, we met Tom and Chick, who turned out to know all about Ground Control before we even mentioned it. You can find the interview we did with Tom here, but the upshot was that Tom kindly allowed us to call Ground Control his official site. None of us are actually Tom McCamus, or Chick Reid, or any of his family, so sadly we can't cast you in any movies, pay your bills, or accept marriage proposals. Tom does occasionally write to us with news, but he's a very busy guy so this doesn't happen very often. You can check Tom Mail for his past emails to the site. We are, in fact: 80% female linguistics student from Scotland. 15% ad hoc reporters and fans of all genders, occupations, and locations. 3% Henry The Bear. 2% unidentified substances that need further testing.
