We were contacted by Trinity director Gary Boulton-Brown a few days ago. Gary has been good enough to give us some exclusive stills from the film, and has been answering our questions about the movie. Look out for a big new feature soon. Many thanks to Gary for his time and effort. |

According to the imdb, Tom has two new TV shows, although info is rather scanty at the moment. Firstly, he's the voice of the dastardly X of Evil in the animated series Funpak or "Harold Rosenbaum: Chartered Accountant Extreme". Secondly, he's "Tom" (well, he would be, wouldn't he?) in It's Me Gerald, which is a mockumentary series. Which means that Tom may very well be playing himself. If anyone knows anything more, let us know! |

More news on the Siblings front. The film's official website is here, and includes a trailer (featuring Tom), and some bio info for Tom. Oh, and the rest of the cast as well, I guess. Star Alex Campbell (Joe) played the younger version of Tom's character in the movie Perfect Pie. So now you know. |

Reviews for Siblings (released 15th April) can now be found on our Blog, at Masonesque, and at TomDaMan. If any of you go to see it (did I mention there are 2-for-1 offers on opening night???) be sure and let us know what you think. |

The acclaimed dark comedy Siblings, in which Tom has a small role, opens April 15th in Vancouver (at The Tinseltown) and Toronto (at The Varsity). And - two-for-one tickets!!! Woo!! Hmmm, if only I was in Canada. Anyone who wants the whole e-mail with the movie poster and info, email me and I'll forward it to you. Ta very much to producer Marcia Douglas for the heads up. As a small independent movie, Siblings needs all the help it can get, so please locate all of your Canadian friends and convince them to go out and see it! |

Tom has a role in the upcoming play Hedda Gabler, which will be playing at the Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto. The play runs from May 22nd to June 12th. The play, by Henrik Ibsen, has been adapted by Judith Thompson. Thompson also wrote Tom's movie Perfect Pie. Check out ticket and play info here and here. |

Filming on Waking Up Walter: The Walter Gretzky Story has finished, and the film should be seen on Canadian TV sometime this Fall. Keep an eye on your TV schedules. |

In a burst of creativity, there is now a brand new Ground Control FAQ. You can tell I should be studying right now, can't you? |

CHICK NEWS: Chick will be starring in the critically acclaimed play Helen's Necklace, as the title character. The play runs from February 8th to February 19th at the Grand Theatre, London, Ontario. You can buy tickets here. |

Another place to discuss Tom. Since many Tomfans have Livejournals, there is now a Livejournal community dedicated to Tom and his acting. Check it out. |

A word about archiving: the popular fan website PureMX is now defunct, and as a result many of the links on the news page are now dead, and obviously all the articles I archived there are now no longer available. Everything is still archived on TomDaMan and I have begun to post new articles at Masonesque, as well as at TomDaMan. Nothing has been lost, but if you have problems finding something, please do not hesitate to contact me. In addition, some interviews and other odds and ends will eventually be up at Ground Control @ Masonesque. There are currently a few things up there, but this is a work in progress. Of course, we respect and acknowledge all existing copyrights. |

And... Gothic Phantom's wonderful gallery of Tom screenshots has been updated again (again!) and has also changed address. You can now find it here, and I highly recommend it. |

There is a one-page interview with Tom in Issue 106 of Cult Times magazine, in which he talks about his role as Mason Eckhart in Mutant X. The magazine can be ordered internationally from here. |

What's happening with Mutant X? Er... nothing. At the moment it's fairly certain that the hoped-for next season will not happen, due to the production company being deceased, the sets being destroyed, and the stars moving on to other projects. Oh well, we still have reruns! Best wishes to the cast and crew in their new ventures. |

The film tells the real-life tale of Gretzky's life supporting his hockey-star son Wayne, and his recovery from a stroke. The article (and fan discussion) can be found here, at TomDaMan, and Masonesque. If anyone decides to head to Edmonton to be an extra, let us know! |

Thanks to Anita, we now know that Tom's acclaimed short film Heart Songs can be seen online. Check out the new Shorts page for details. |

The trailer from Tom's new movie Ginger Snaps 3, or Ginger Snaps Back, can be found online here. Tom features quite prominently, so it's worth a look if you can get it to load. Ta to Gothic Phantom for the tip. |
