Sendoh is a very easygoing and friendly guy who always seems to have a smile on his face. He is well-known in Kanagawa - and probably the whole of Japan - as the ace of Ryonan and a basketball genius, an amazingly talented player with the stunning ability to work miracles on the court. He ranks among the top players in Kanagawa, and is therefore seen by Rukawa as major competition. Contrary to the usual pride and arrogance that talent and reputation brings, Sendoh is actually quite a modest and humble guy, which makes him popular and easy to get along with. He always seems relaxed and calm, always smiling and not allowing himself to be easily provoked - 'letting things go'. However, his easygoing attitude gives people the impression that he is in fact quite lazy, Despite his faults, he is forever the gentleman, apologizing and excusing himself, therefore making it difficult for people to be mad at him for too long (an example of this would be Ryonan coach's wavering attitude towards his being late to the Shokohu practice match, due to oversleeping). Sendoh has the unflinching ability to remain unusually calm and collected during even the most critical and desperate moments of a match, and this is one of the elements that makes people see Sendoh as an extremely reliable and capable player and person. During games, no matter what drastic or bleak situation the team may be in, it seems that whenever Sendoh gets the ball, all team members are motivated and comforted by the confident conception that with Sendoh on their side, everything will be all right. This immediate confidence that he gives the Ryonan team members makes him a very suitable captain for Ryonan in the future. Sendoh seems to really enjoy being challenged. He welcomes and encourages it with enthusiasm that instantly sparks up opponents' determination and puts in extra effort when this happens. Though Rukawa is probably the person who has the most talent to challenge him (and he does this very keenly), Sendoh appears to pay more attention and think more highly of Sakuragi, who, jealous of his reputation as a genius, has set his sights on beating Sendoh as well. Sendoh laughs at Sakuragi's naive behaviour in mild surprise and amusement, but in his mind thinks that he has he has great potential and is in fact an important (and very interesting) player for Shohoku. Sendoh, like Rukawa and Fujima, is also very popular among girls. In the anime, when Sendoh walks past, you often hear girls screaming, "Sendoh-kun!!" Unlike Rukawa, Sendoh seems to acknowledge this fact and being the polite gentleman that he is, he often waves back or greets the girls in his 'fanclub'. (Fanfictional authors seem to make out Sendoh as a very flirtatious person). Overall, in all areas, Sendoh is undoubtably charming.

^_^ *blushes* Why am I attracted to Sen-kun? Hmm...^.^ Well, simply because he's perfect. Too good to be true..^_^ haha...Just think about it, where will you be able to find a guy that's as kawaii as Sendoh (in a studly, teenage kind of way....different from Fujima or Rukawa kawaii..hehe.. ^_~), along with being such a polite, considerate and decent gentleman...and also amazing talent, reliability in critical situations, unshakable calmness and logic in dealing with things....but yet he's capable of joking around and relaxing, not taking things too seriously...a mild, easygoing personality that assures you that with him it's okay to make mistakes...
I don't think it's humanly possible to be as attractive as Sen-kun is. In both personality and appearance I would give him 10/10! ^.^ He's cute, talented, modest, reliable, considerate, polite, and loads more...what more could you ask for? The only drawback to Sen-kun is that sometimes it might feel insecure to be with him - with his politeness and easygoing attitude he acknowledges his popularity with girls...which can be quite scary sometimes when you think about what might happen. :S .....But that's what you get with a guy that's 3mm away from being 100% perfect ^_^, And that smile...oh god.. *faints*....~_~ that shining smile! I'm falling prey to that kinda smile nowdays... ^_^ hehe.. I think Sendoh's kawaii in a very studly kind of way, not as gentle as Rukawa's kind of kawaii though...more like a very trendy, teenage kind of kawaii...erm, I'm not making any sense again..haha.. ^_~..but just a more teenage kind of kawaii anyway...hehe...To be honest, if you're talking about kawaii-ness, I prefer Rukawa's kawaii-ness over Sendoh's...but people aren't all looks, and if you consider Sen-kun's personality...he is just to die for... ^,^ I would give anything to have a lover like Sen-kun... *_*
