Fujima is an analytical, dedicated and encouraging person who is respected and trusted by team mates. His deep concentration and analytical intellect gives him the ability to play the two important roles of captain and coach both at the same time. However challenging playing a double role is, Fujima's dedication to his Basketball ambitions makes him perfectly capable of carrying this enormous responsibility. Fujima is a respected and trusted leader, encouraging and motivating his team mates with a strong fighting spirit in difficult and awkward situations. Fujima is seen as the major support pillar of Shoyo, and also the second best point guard in Kanagawa. While on the bench as a coach, Fujima always stays calm and collected; concentating on analyzing, observing, and predicting the opponent's next moves and strategies. As a coach, Fujima knows his responsibilities to trust his team, to reassure them and to encourage them when it appears that they are losing confidence, and Fujima does this well, in an unshakably calm fashion (though in a very strange way on the court, if you ask me...^_^" slapping their butts, so to speak..hehe). Fujima earns his team's trust simply by trusting them - this can be seen in one of the players that Fujima seems to trust most, Hanagata. However, once on the court, Fujima appears a completely different person. As a player, Fujima puts all his concentration into playing well, therefore forgetting all the responsibilities and necessary calmness of being a coach. On the court, Fujima is definitely not as calm and collected as he is on the bench. As a player, Fujima displays stunning skill and coordination with his team mates (especially Hanagata), and is reknowned as one of the top point guards. Fujima is seen as a major rival by Miyagi, who knows that the only way to become the #1 point guard in Kanagawa is to overtake players like Fujima and Maki. As well as his ability of analyze, Fujima also has a very mature way of thinking, which gives him the ability to control his anger and not get easily provoked. His maturity (and probably his intelligence as well) makes him not as impulsive, impolite, or loud-mouthed as many of the other guys in SD. Instead of getting angry, you often see Fujima surprised. Fujima aims high and has great ambitions, and dedicates himself completely into achieving them. This explains his strong emotions - when Shoyo lost to Shohoku, Fujima tried but couldn't hold back his tears. I would categorize Fujima as a fighter at heart. Fujima's #1 opponent is Maki from Kainan, which is probably why the whole Shoyo's ultimate ambition is to beat Kainan. Like Sendoh and Rukawa, Fujima is also popular among girls. He has a fanclub with girls that follow him around asking him for handshakes. Fujima is neither totally nonchalant (like Rukawa) nor mildly pleased (like Sendoh) with his popularity amongst girls, but varies between the two. When asked for a handshake, Fujima dutifully gives one. In the presence of his female supporters, Fujima merely looks back at them - he doesn't walk past (like Rukawa) or wave back (like Sendoh).

Fujima-san...*blushes and looks down*... ^.^ *sighs* Now to me, this isn't just a guy...this is a man..hehe... ^_~ Fujima-san just has this unshakable sense of security about him, don't you think? He isn't kawaii in the way Rukawa or Sendoh is...he's kawaii in a really masculine way...in addition to this manly kawaii-ness he's intelligent and analytical, trustworthy, reliable, dedicated, responsible,....the list goes on...haha.. ^_^ My thoughts on Fujima-san are that he would make the perfect husband.. ^.^ LOL Why? 'Cause he's mature and takes things seriously, he has a sense of responsibility, he's dedicated to things and cares about how others feel - which makes you feel assured that he won't just run away.(^_^ hehe) ..and you can always trust him and rely on him to be there... His intelligence and ability to analyze things probably means that he'll be good at solving problems that might arise between two people, and his strong fighting spirit assures you that he won't give up easily when faced with hardships....And another thing is that he doesn't really seem too keen on his fanclub girls..haha.. Doesn't this guy make you feel safe? haha...well, he gives me an unbeatable sense of security anyway...hehe ^_~ I personally think that the only people who wouldn't be suited to Fujima-san would be people who prefer casual flings and unserious relationships..haha ^_^ ...Fujima's more of the serious type and I don't think casual fling-ers would like a guy who would take up all the responsiblities that a man is supposed to and never let go ^_~ haha...oh well...There's a lot about Fujima-san that I really like..but being me, I can't really phrase much of it..haha..^_^" ...like I said, Fujima-san's more of a man than a teenager, I think...He also looks gaijin ...like a european or american...so it's different I guess.... ^_^ Different but I still love it! haha.. Umm..there's this thing about Fujima though...looking at his reactions to his fanclub, I doubt that he is interested in girls...I seriously think that him and Hanagata have something going on.... ^_^" but I don't think I'll get into that now... ^_^ Anyway, that's how I feel about Fujima-san....the ideal husband for anyone.. ^_~ But too good to be true as well..haha...
