| It stumbled through the darkness. It was being chased. The warrior, it was closer. The victim continued through the blackness. Panic was flooding every inch of his body. The darkness...no, it was becoming lighter...need darkness...light bad...no, its closer. The thoughts were racing through the victims head. Too..light..I..can't..last. It tripped. Slowly, it turned around. Panic, mixed with horror, was all that was in its mind. The warrior was above it. The warrior raised its blade above his head. "I am the guardian," it boomed. "Hear the song of the most powerful, of what was thought to be a trio." The warrior then began to recite. The bold one, the young one. The one with no guardian, and the mark of the power which will be on his left hand. They shall once again open the door with the essence of the power of their quest contained. The mark, and the defense of a warrior, shall touch the sword and be warped to the realm of the missing one. The defense, thought to be common, held a secret only wisdom knew, but did no know it. There, the missing one, shall banish The Dark version of the adventurer, and the power on their face! The mask, the one with the glowing white eyes, will then prevail. It will defeat the King of Evil, the Prince of Darkness." The warrior lifted his sword over the victim, but did not strike. The light took over. The warrior vanished. The victim slowly stood up. It heard a voice. "Come, I shall grant you power beyond your wildest dreams." It followed the voice to its destiny. A dark destiny. Link awoke shaking. That dream, it had seemed so real. Link looked around. He saw Sheik, Impa, and Epona. "You've awoke." Link nodded at Sheik. Impa then cut in, "You were sleeping for hours." Link replied to Sheik. "I had a dream, it was about a warrior, chasing someone in the dark..." Sheik and Impa traded dark glances. "You had better come with me, Link" Link got up and followed Sheik into the woods. |
