What is your first memory?
My very very first memory is really a vision. I can barely move. But I delight myself looking at the shimmering play of light and shadow that falls on the wall. The next memory is me jumping up and down while holding on to the rails on my crib believing that I could fly. So in comes my aunt and with my mind (I thought she could read thoughts) I tell her, Hey! see me flying! This feeling of flying?also got duplicated in my dreams, reinforcing the belief...

What's the strangest thing you've heard in the last week?? (story, gossip, noise, comment, overheard conversation, etc.)
I've been seeing & hearing the strangest of discussions over Irak for several years, not just this week, on US channels. This discussion keeps repeating in many forms, itself reaching the utterly nonsensical and absurd. Nobody in TV Land seems to realize that the US invaded a sovereign country and is still occupying its territory. Absurdly, discussions center on how the "war" should be resolved "best" for the Americans (???) and what is "best" for the Iraqui people. Nobody seems to realize that "democracy" cannot be imposed by military rule, as if they have been propagandized to the point of idiocy. I think this is totally the strangest thing that I have ever witness in my entire life!

What do you REALLY want to do today?
I would like to call my ex-lover and tell him I miss him, that I want to meet him tonight. Then spend the day somewhere where I can be alone, walk without being recognized, without having to talk to anybody. Go to a park and draw a tree. Forget to think and to speak. Then, after the sunset, go to my ex-lovers house and just be there, not having to speak or to act.

Invent a holiday.?(feel free to name the day it would fall on)
I propose Everybody is an Artist Holiday... ??In this day everybody will think about living creatively and imaginatively and have the time and space to leave aside whatever to actually be creative and imaginative...

What do you wish you could keep in a jar?
I'd put the Taj Mahal in a jar and carry it in my bag...

If you could start your own organization that helps people what would it do and be named?
I would start an organization for girls and women. There they will learn many things that are not taugh to the female, at least in a holistic way, things such as (boys that are genuinely interested can attend the workshops also) :?
- discover women history from all around the ?world
- use art as a way to express themselves
- learn to respect alternative women styles of livin
?- learn to make choices about their bodies
- learn healthy & free from restrain sexuality?
- practice how to be independent souls?
- read books on literature and poetry?written by intelligent woman and learn to discuss the themes and issues?
- appreciate the value of being HIGHLY educated to survive and compete in a patriarchal society? and as antidote to machism. And many more things like that...

If you found a frozen human from the 1700s and unfroze him, what would be the first thing you'd show him?
An airplane, I'd take him flying!

What is the first name of your best friend(s)?
Each of the following people are the ones I feel closest, each one special in their very special way. Gabrielle (daughter), grounds me to the earth; Brian (son), is my confidant and provides me with his quiet support; Hilda and Mary, refresh me with their wit, wisdom and warmness in a cold, serious and dull world; Edmee (mom), is forever at my side, no matter what. They are all special beings...

Make something today. What'd you make?
I made room from always making work things to ?lay down all afternoon and watch my daughters favorite movie: the Sound of Music and to sing along with her. I was made very proud listening to my daughters beautiful singing voice. We also watched the documental on the real Maria Von Trapp's life.? And then I made the most awful dinner by mistake! But, we had some real nice dessert that a (nearby) baker made... yummm!

What do you think is the funniest part on your body?

My eyebrows, since they are very arched and thin and give the impression that I pluck them which I do not.

Which do you have - procrastination, perfectionism, neither, or both?
I'm bipolar in this respect

What's the most money you have ever won or found?
I've won several $3,500 art grants ()... and once I won the lottery for about $2,500
(when I was very  young. I bought myself lots of clothes and felt rich.)

If you were to write and direct a sitcom based on your life right now, what would it be called?
The sitcom will have a very complicated plot with many twist and turns and will be called
Nothing is what it seems (it may not be funny, so it is a tragic comedy). These are some of the things that may happen during the first season: ?a respectable hard working father by day (actually he is Mr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde), terrorizes everybody at home when he comes drunk at night. Though she has kept the role of the most perfect and sweetest of housewives and moms through the battering, the battered wife finally gets fed up and escapes this madness; later turning around by becoming the bad guy of the plot: she turns into a femme fatale, seducing all in the  the sitcom, leaving the children to fend for themselves. Eventually, children get all messed in the scuffle that ensues: they end up kidnapped by double personality drunken dad and abandoned by abused mom. The oldest daughter (me, of course) tries to flee the craziness as a very troubled teenager, lives alone in the streets and in hippie communes while experiencing the most sublime, fantastic, absurd and dangerous of situations.

Much more wild & crazy things to come during the next season ...
