If you had to choose between a pirate, ninja, or viking for a roommate, who would you choose? Since I have lived with both Vikingnesque and Ninjanesque people - and much rather go sailing once in a while, on top of that I mustI have pirate blood myself (being, as I am, from an island in the Caribbean), I'd rather live with a pirate anytime. What is the greatest distance you have fallen or jumped from?
I've fallen plenty, but never very far, like the farthest has been from bed. Have hurt myself though, falling from stairs, steps, sidewalks, etc.
When was the last time you were REALLY scared?
Every time I get a panic attack (funny: just had one yesterday). Having panic attacks is scary! It happens to me once in a while because of the violence I witnessed as a young girl and, also, I was raped as a teenager and also as a wife. The damn attacks never go away, just happen less often. Also they come unannounced like while you are waiting in line at the supermarket. Also, once I was in the movies and there was a fire and everybody had to ran away. That was very scary! And then, for years, everytime I was in the middle of a movie, I had a panic attack. So I have gotten used to all of that: I just wait until the attack goes away (I have accepted my nervous system is out of whack).

Well, back to the original question... the most recent scare was: a nightmare I had some nights ago. In this awful dream, some beast man (sometimes man, sometimes animal like) wanted to kill me. I escaped from that part of the dream by getting in a car where friends were waiting for me. Then as I got in the car, everything in the picture turned red. We all asked each other what had happened. Then a dream voice told us that we had accidentally touched a high voltage cable and then we realized we where all dead. I woke up shivering from fright.

The biggest thing is my computer and a painting, since I don't have land, nor huge amounts of money, no house and almost no car.

Must have seen thousands of movies through my lifetime; all kinds, from all over the world: from Hollywood (which are my least favorite) to Independent North American films (much better than formula-infected Hollywood films)...??Also from: Argentinian, Iran, Irak, Chinese, Armenian, Russian, Indian, Mexican, Argentinian, African. So far, I like most seeing films from Spain, France and Italy. Many of theses are thoughful and intelligent, for sensible minds, (but I must admit that there may be the usual trash produced there as well!). My most favorite are those coming from Spain.Many are strong and irreverent, have a great (dark) sense of humor. Regretfully, the few I'd seen produced and filmed in my island, (so far) have been uninteresting provincial melodramas. So much more to see, so little time!

What are some small injustices, the little things that create big headaches?
I get irritated by cars speeding by my street, when they should go very SLOW, not caring for pedestrians and children crossing by; dog shit left in the sidewalks; the very many drug addicts begging for money in the streets and traffic lights; the generalized political corruption. Come to think about it, it is not easy living in a third world tropical paradise.
