Scotty 2 Hotty to sign autographs for Joy of Sharing Published on December 12, 2002   from Portland Hereld Press © 2002- Blethen Maine Newspapers, Inc. The Joy of Sharing, a cooperative effort among Hannaford Bros., WGME 13 and The Salvation Army, will welcome nationally known wrestling star Scotty 2 Hotty to the Scarborough Hannaford store from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dec. 19. He will sign autographs and meet with fans. The event is free and open to the public, although donations of unwrapped toys will be encouraged. Each year, The Joy of Sharing collects and distributes 10,000 toys for the needy in Maine and parts of New Hampshire. The program also involves contributions to the Salvation Army "kettles" in all Hannaford stores. An estimated 6,000 families are helped through this effort. Scotty's appearance marks the third consecutive year that the Westbrook native has held a Joy of Sharing event. Finally, a Scotty appearance...LOL Scotty 2 Hotty hosts Unforgiven at The World Join Scotty 2 Hotty this Sunday night at The World in New York City's Times Square for Unforgiven! It's great food, more than 100 monitors and the chance to be on live television! Tickets are available now at The World Box Office on 43rd St. and Broadway!

Scotty took part in a charity on August 23rd, 2002 at the Merriam Motors in Wallingford, Conn for a little girl named Arielle Yedder who had a brain tumor removed last November. Along with him were Kurt Angle, Terri, Lita, and Tazz. Here's what Scotty had to say about the event:  “It’s always fun to do stuff like this,” said Scotty, who was accompanied by his wife Terri and baby daughter Taylor. “It’s not one of the reasons you get into wrestling, but once you’re here, to be able to be a part of this, is really cool. You can wrestle in front of 60,000 or 70,000 people, and that’s awesome. That’s why you get into this. But this kind of thing is a bonus. It’s so cool to be able to help.”(courtesy of WWE.COM)

8/18/02 As of right now there isn't much news going on with Scotty. He had an autograph session this past weekend in New Brunswick, NJ. Anyone who attended and took pix contact me and I'll put them up on the site. We should be hearing something soon as Scotty will be going in for his 4 month check up on his neck which takes place September 25th. He also has an appearence scheduled in Abilene, TX on September 21st.

7/11/02 Scotty was at The World in NYC. He did an interview with WWE.com . Click HERE to read about it.  In the interview he talks about his injury, his daughter, and many other things.

7/03/02 Scotty will be hosting Raw this Monday night in New York City at The World. If you're in the area, check him out. In other news about Scotty he is now in a soft collar after having the hard one removed on June 11th. He is due for another examination on September 25th to see how he is healing after surgery. He is expected to be out of action til sometime next summer.
