That's right, Final Fantasy Classics has been on the web for two years now. To celebrate, I made a new update today to the FF1 walkthrough. The game is now covered up to the end of the first part of the Earth Cave. With luck, I'll finish the FF1 section before this webpage turns 3.
2/9/01
I continued work on the Final Fantasy strategy guide. Everything up to the construction of the canal is listed.
12/29/00
I added more material to the Final Fantasy strategy guide. The guide now covers everything up to the Marsh Cave. I also added some stuff to the FAQ page.
10/15/00
I expanded the strategy guide and added screenshots.
8/20/00
I updated the pages on magic and items in the Final Fantasy section.
8/14/00
I expanded the Final Fantasy strategy guide, and the FAQ page for Final Fantasy. I also added the eye monsters to the Final Fantasy Legend monster page
3/3/00
Sometime yesterday (3/2/00), this site reached the 10,000 hit mark. I also added a page on Final Fantasy Adventure. For those of you who have been having trouble getting to the Medusa's Cave, I've finally posted the solution on the site. I've been getting a lot of e-mails about it, so I decided to make everyone's life easier and put the answer here. This seems like a puzzle that was more difficult than the game designers anticipated; I know it took me a week to figure it out on my own.
2/8/00
I added a page on the characters in Final Fantasy.
12/8/99
What a week. I was officially added to Yahoo's
directory last Thursday (11/11), and since then my
site has gone form about 225 hits to over 1100 and
still counting. I'd like to thank all the new
vistors for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back
again, as there is still much that I'm planning to
add to my page.
Speaking of which, new additions since the last
formal update include new MIDI
files, a page detailing the spells of the game, and a
page of MIDI files for
Final Fantasy Legend, along
with minor tweaking of the various pages.
10/22/99
I finished the Final Fantasy experience tables and the new navigational table for the main Final Fantasy page. I also have a new banner for the site.
10/12/99
I expanded the Final Fantasy Strategy Guide, and added a new file to the MIDI files page.
10/2/99
I finally finished the first page of the Final Fantasy Strategy Guide. There's not much to it yet, but I will be adding to it, so check back on this page often.
10/1/99
I added a MIDI file page for Final Fantasy. A new navigation table was also added at the top of this page.
9/29/99
Those of you returning to the Final Fantasy page will notice a new look. I've framed the pages. A non-framed version is also available (or I have some more debugging to do).
9/12/99
Well, I finally completed the shop tables for Final Fantasy. Due to the memory limitations on my WebTV (or so I thought; it's a convienient scapegoat) I thought I lost half the page while working on it, but I had nothing to fear, most of my work was saved.
8/22/99
I have expanded the character page on Final Fantasy Legend, and have added the first page of monster listings.
7/18/99
The Final Fantasy Legend page has now been opened.
6/28/99
The experience table has been completed, and the Final Fantasy FAQ page and the shops for Pravoka have been added. Check out the respective pages. I may also post some tips on Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy Tactics (but not on this page, this is Final Fantasy Classics, after all...). This page is under construction at the moment, so bookmark it for future reference.
