Brief Description of Powers and Abilities: Sunlight Conversion

When Roberto was in his early teens (or somewhere in that age range) he joined the New Mutants, right after his girlfriend Juliana Sandoval was killed by Hellfire Club guards, becoming one of the original five. So he's with the New Mutants for awhile, then he and Warlock either run away or just go missing from the team (I don't know they have yet to explain that), so the Fallen Angels are formed and Bobby and Warlock join them, then go back to the New Mutants. And he's great friends with Sam, has a really short temper, but he's nice and loyal to the team.

Suddenly, Roberto's father gets killed by Gideon, who frames Cable for it, (Of course why not... everyone else is), and he takes Roberto under his wing to take over Roberto's dad's business, so of course Bobby leaves the New Mutants. Then Gideon puts Roberto through a horrible experiment where some scientists subject him to way more solar energy than he was meant for, his power used to be to simply convert solar energy into strength, you see, and the experiment is incredibly painful, and it nearly kills Roberto, but X-Force breaks in right on time and Sam pulls him out. That was right after Cable was lost to the team, so he and Rictor join X-Force. Now Bobby's power allows him to shoot beams of energy out of his hands as well as just get strong, all with the help of the sun.

He stays with X-Force until they have a battle with the new, improved MLF, under the leadership of Reignfire(*snort* *spit*), and at the end of it Sunspot gets teleported off God-knows-where by Locus. He's missing for quite a long time, then Sam, Theresa, and James track him down using one of Cable's doohickeys. So X-Force goes after him, expecting to find their relatively lucid Brazilian friend, and instead they find Reignfire and his MLF. So Sam demands that he hand over Roberto, so Reignfire just takes off his mask, and there's Bobby (*hurl*)! So it turns out Bobby had been Reignfire all that time even though Reignfire and Bobby were fighting each other the day Bobby was teleported away. That was right before the AoA.

After the AoA has come and gone, we see Bobby nice and calm again, with all the Reignfire out of his system, thanks to Cable's psychic intervention (and crappy writers and shitty editors), and his powers are enhanced yet again, this time so that he can't power down, which makes him really conspicuous. A little bit later we find out Bobby can speak Askani, which is Cable's future language. But still we haven't found out exactly how Cable got Reignfire out of Bobby's head (vacuum cleaner?). By now it's also been established the whole Reignfire thing was by possession (I say Shitty writers). Just recently, Bobby's been powered down, so he can go out in public again (How convenient!! He probably knows Marrow's plastic surgeon). Although I didn't see exactly how that happened.

He was code-named Sunspot after the spots the sun forms when it cools off a little in some areas. Any other questions? If so, you're probably out of luck, as I've spilled just about everything I know about the guy (And the horrible painful nauseating storyline It was my misfortune to read..well except for you know what *shudder*).
