Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC)

The Statute of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria does not establish the characteristics of the flag, referring to a subsequent decision. Anyway, it keeps using the flag of its predecessor, the Politechnical University of Las Palmas, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science dated 2 November 1981. The brown colour comes from the hood of the academical dress corresponding to Technical Schools.
