MJJH TCAP TEST SCORE RESULTS

DUKE TALENT SEARCH

Seventh graders who scored at or above the 97th percentile on their Achievement Tests qualified for the Duke Talent Search Program, in which the next step was to take either the SAT or ACT college entrance exam. Predetermined scores on the ACT or SAT qualified those students for the Duke Talent State or Grand Recognition Ceremonies. Three seventh graders at Mt. Juliet Jr. High were invited to Duke University to receive national recognition for the high scores they earned on either the ACT or SAT, which they took through the Duke University Talent Identification Program. Their names are CHRISTINA HAINES, MATT HURLEY and EMILY CLAIRE KANAK.

Additionally, Mt. Juliet Jr. High also had thirteen other seventh graders who scored high enough to be invited to the state recognition ceremony. Those students are MAXWELL ANDERSON, DAVID GREENE, LEILA HEJAZI, JACQUELINE IRVING, JODY JOINER, SHAUN LAWICKI, NATHAN MALONE, HOLLY RAY, DALE SAWYER, ANDREW SHERRILL, JOSHUA SLOAN, MICHAEL URRUTIA, and JUSTIN WRIGHT.
