GAME 9 HIGHLIGHTS

Lightning - Rebels 4 - 0

Kickoff time: 9:00 P.M. at Ed Fountain.
Wheather conditions: Nice.

A nice perfomace by Lightning today kept them undifited winning 4-0 to Rebels. From the begonning to end Lightning kept attacking the entire game. On the first half had mny opportunity to score but could not finish with a good Rebels Goallie saving a lot of shots on goal. Davey break the ice when with a good shot to the right of the goal gave the leads to the reds. Minutes later Kerry had a brilliant opportunity to score after winning a break trough but he made too many touches with the final kick to the goalie that he had to come out to make a very intelligent save. Many other occassions from Weston, Guy, Kerry and Davey were wasted for not finish on time when the opportunities were there. On the second half they did it. Lightning had numerous chances to score and finnally with a nice c cross from the right from Kerry, Weston with one touch shot swings and scored the second. Minutes later Weston did it again when from a series of shots and rebounds finally got his foot on the ball and scored his second and the third for the team. With the last 8 minutes from time Kerry get through couple of defenders on the right and arrived in the penalty box shoots while the keeper were trying to close his angle and scored the fourth. A very satisfacory performance for Lightning today now concentrting for the Outlaws match on tuesday.
