The Military Brat!

Growing up as a "military brat" was a lot of fun yet at the same time, it could be heart-wrenching. I'm sure that most "brats" would agree with me on that. People ask me to tell them all the places that I have lived and I have to recite them by each grade of school. Also, I can remember when my father was gone to Vietnam. But I especially remember when he came home finally and my parents had the nerve to send me to school...lol I wanted to stay home with him and couldn't understand why they wouldn't let me because I had been separated from him for just as long. haha I've always considered myself to be "daddy's little girl" and at the age of 34, I still am. Below are some pics from when I was growing up. The pic of me and my brothers was taken in Germany. We had gotten our outfits for Christmas and as you can tell, I was probably NOT used to wearing cow"girl" boots. One of my father when he was in the field at Vietnam. Last but certainly not the least....here's "Daddy's Little Girl" spending quality time fixing her father's hair...what there is of it anyway...lol
