#101 Crenshaw

Stood near Wal-Mart at present day S. Campbell and Walnut Lawn.
Destroyed
Reorganized as Kickapoo R-VII in 1951. Reorganized again in 1954 as part of Springfield R-XII.

#102 Bell Victory

South of Walnut Lawn (Farm Road 164) west of Golden and at the corner of Doris.
House
Bell Victory was built by the WPA and first used in 1930. Reorganized as Kickapoo R-VII in 1951. Reorganized again in 1954 as part of Springfield R-XII.

#103 Rountree

Located at southeast corner of Hwy. FF and Farm Road 168.
Community Center
Rountree building is well over 100-years old. Reorganized as part of Kickapoo R-VII in 1951. Reorganized again in 1954 as part of Springfield R-XII.

#104 Brookline

3027 S. Farm Road 103, east of fire station and railroad tracks.
Home
Original school building closed in the early 1930's after falling into disrepair. Second school for Bookline was the existing rock structure which is being lived in. The school was reorganized as part of Republic R-III in 1951.

#105 Beulah

Stands .2 miles north of Hwy. M on west side of Farm Road 103.
Empty
The school was reorganized in 1954 as part of Republic R-IV.

#106 Mt. Etna

Stood southwest of Farm Road 168 and Farm Road 85.
Destroyed
Reorganized as part of Republic R-III in 1951.

#107 Prairie View

Farm Road 69 south of Hwy. TT. Stood near the corner, southeast side.
Destroyed
Reorganized as part of Republic R-III in 1951

#108 Grand View

1/4 mile south of Hwy. TT on Farm Road 55.

#109 St. Elmo

Stands one-quarter mile north of Farm Road 31 and Farm Road 168.
Community Center

#110 St. Joe

South of Hwy. 174 on Farm Road 31, but north of Farm Road 186.
Destroyed
School was reorganized as part of Republic R-III in 1951.

#111 Blades

Northeast of Farm Road 186 and Farm Road 59 but south of 174. Stood on East side of Farm Road 59.
Destroyed
The first Blades school was built in 1847 and was a log structure 14 x 15 feet in size.Students had a two-month term during warm months. A second school was built closer to Billings, but this exact location is undercertain. The third building -- the one that was used last -- was built in 1899.

#112 Republic

Destroyed
First school building was a one-room wood structure. School had 14 students during the 1923-24 school year. In the 1880s, the one-room school on stood on West Elm, one block west of Main. In 1892, a two floor brick school with a full basement for 8 grades and high school was built. That building remained in use until the present elementary school was built in 1954. It existed until 1920 when a high school was built on Anderson St.

Quarter mile east of Farm Road 99 on the north side of Farm Road 186. Stands next to a home at 7336 W. Farm Road 186.

Also spelled Lindsay in some sources. Reorganized as part of Republic R-III in 1951.

#114 Capernium

East of Farm Road 111, one mile south of Farm Road 182, near Wilson's Creek National Battlefield. Was once part of a larger district.
Destroyed
Located east of Battlefield in an area now part of Wilson's Creek National Battlefield.

#115 Central Point

Stands on Weaver Road (Farm Road 178) west of Scenic (Farm Road 137).
Church
Building stands as part of church. Reorganized as Kickapoo R-VII in 1951. Reorganized again in 1954 as part of Springfield R-XII.

#116 Plain View

South of Farm Road 182 along Hwy. 160 (S. Campbell), north of Farm Road 186. 1/4 mile south of Weaver Road on S. Campbell.
Destroyed
In the 1970s, it was used as a home. May still be standing. Reorganized as Kickapoo R-VII in 1951. Reorganized again in 1954 as part of Springfield R- XII.

Off Hwy. 65, west on Evans Road, south on Farm Road 175 at 6163 S. Farm Road 175.

Reorganized as Kickapoo R-VII in 1951. Reorganized again in 1954 as part of Springfield R- XII.

#118 Mentor

Hwy. 60 to Farm Road 193. Turn south to Farm Road 186 (4-way stop). Located on Farm Road 186, only .2 miles west of Hwy. NN.

Dodson was the original log school that stood on the same sight. Reorganized as part of Logan-Rogersville School District R-VIII in 1953 This was identified as a third-class (Job) high school in 1932.

#119 Wolfe

Stood at Farm Road 186 and Farm Road 219.
Destroyed
Reorganized as part of Logan-Rogersville School District R-VIII in 1957.

#120 Kelly Chapel

Hwy. 60 past Hwy. 125 to Farm Road 241. Turn right, fifth house on the left. At west side of Farm Road 241 and Farm Road 184 intersection.

Reorganized as part of Logan-Rogersville School District R-VIII in 1957.

#121 Hartley

South side of Hwy. AA west off Campbell.
Destroyed
Stands on Greene and Christian County border. Was school until mid-1940's. Then was purchased by two brothers for a home but later torn down.

#122 Green Ridge

Stands .3 miles west of Hwy. FF on north side of Farm Road.
Barn
Reorganized as part of Republic R-III in 1951.

#123 York

South of the "T" for Marion and Nicholas Street in Springfield, west of Kansas Expressway.
School
Main structure was built in 1911 following the division of Gulf School District. Annexed by Springfield in 1923.

#124 New Home

Original school stood at Hoffman and High.
Destroyed
Original school stood at Hoffman and High. Was built around 1910 according to a student. School was annexed by Springfield in 1921. Building was later destroyed and rebuilt along Kearney. The name was changed to Ed V. Williams School.
