One woman's dream......to save PMU foals from slaughter and find them loving homes. How does one woman get the word out? How does one woman manage to reach the hearts of hundreds of people across the U.S. and change the lives of these innocent foals? Just ask Donna Weatherly.
Donna made her dream a reality thru hard work , dedication and determination. Today, there are over 250 people who have joined her crusade to save these foals, with more joining everyday. These people, have banned together and become a very organized, dedicated, determined, and even more important, successful group of people. The first trek brought foals back that have found new homes from as far as Florida to California.
What else is amazing about this group of dedicated people is that they accomplished this without the help of any rescue group, they are not a 501(c)(3) organization, and they organized it all over the internet. Once you read their story you can have nothing but respect and admiration for this truly wonderful group of people.
