Good Luck Cadettes of Troop #8! silver award

The girls of Cadette Troop #8 of Utah are working toward's their Silver Award. Their project is making baby quilts for the Brigham City Womans shelter and for the Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. The girls have just started working on this coveted Girl Scout award.

These girls will be the first TROOP in the Northern Bear River Valley to receive the Silver Award. They are gathering quilt squares from all over the US and Canada and hope to make 5-7 quilts. They invite all Girl Scouts from around the world to donate a quilt square for this project.

We want to thank Sandy for creating and maintaining this page. Sandy is our GS leader and has been for about 18 years. She is also on the Box Elder Service Unit, which she has been the membership registra, SU recruiter, troop organizer and SU Director. Sandy has been a leader of all ages, from Pixies (before Daisies) through Seniors. She recently started over with her youngest daughter, who is now a Cadette.
