1 butternut squash | cooking oil |
brown sugar or honey | Salt & Pepper |
Bake squash whole in 325 degree oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven and Cut lengthwise, remove seeds and peel. Cut into cubes. Drop squash into deep fat and fry until evenly browned and tender. Drain on paper towel. Add seasonings.
**This can also be fried or sauted in butter in a frying pan. If you are trying to cut down on fat, just toss the squash cubes with brown sugar, salt and pepper. Then drizzle a little bit of honey over all of it. Serve Warm.
