Caramel for Dipping

1 C. butter	Dash salt
2 1/2 C. packed brown sugar	1-14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 C. light corn syrup	2 tsp. vanilla

Boil first 4 ingredients until soft ball stage. Slowly add last 2 ingredients. Remove from heat. You can also dip apples in Virginia peanuts.
