At the Capital Radio's London Awards; Ronan won 'London's Favourite International Male' Boyzone won 'London's Favourite Concert' At the weekend Ronan won 'Best Single' and 'Best International Male' at the Dutch TMF Awards. We are pleased to announced that Boyzone have teamed up with Worldpop to offer you the chance to win the holiday to the Boyz home town of Dublin! The holiday includes all flights, transfers, accomodation and a meal at Planet Hollywood and if that's not enough, the winner and 14 others have the chance to win one of a signed copy of their new video, Boyzone 2000 Live at the Point Theatre Dublin. 10th April News on Steo's solo album! It will be titled New Beginning and atm the release date is set for June 2000. Rumour has it that the album includes traditional ballads and some re-mixed tunes by guest DJ's! 8th April The National Lottery TV programme this evening had a world exclusive - Stephen singing his brand new song New Beginning. Ronan's just come back from the US after being there for six weeks recording his album. He's now recording in the UK for the rest of March. Keith Duffy and his Wife Lisa had a baby girl call Mia this week. Congratultions! Also loads of congratulations to this week's birthday celebration goes to: Stephen, Ronan and Jack!
Previous News.... this information from Polydor this morning Steve's single is out on the 22ND May no dates for Ro at the moment they think it will be mid June. Sky One will air Boyzone concert ("The Live One") would be shown again on cable/satellite/digital tv. Well, according to the Cable Guide people, Sky are planning to show it again AFTER the video is released. According to Amazon.co.uk, the video will be released on April 17th! :-)
Ronan:"...the Boyzone movie coming out and also the fourth studio album on the cards.." EDEN: "Hang on, you did a movie.." TREY: "Boyzone movie -tell us about the film. We've heard about, like, Bono playing your manager.." RONAN: "Yeah hopefully Bono..Bono said he's gonna be in it but we want him to be our manager, we don't know if he's gonna play it or not. Em, we're not going to be playing ourselves - we're getting five other guys to play us." TREY: "Ah." EDEN: "Ah, and you want Bono to play in it but you're not going to play in it." RONAN: "Oh, we'll be in it in the beginning and the end but we won't be in the middle." TREY: "But you're not going to like do cameos and stuff? Like, pop up and be the waiter and serve yourself?" RONAN: "Yeah, yeah, possibly, possibly." TREY: "So what would be the first scene? Have you any idea?" RONAN: "Well, actually the first scene is going to open up, present day, like in Wembley or something like that, and its footage we've already filmed - that's basically the idea." TREY: "Yeah." RONAN: "..and, eh, it's kinda - it'll be in color. And then it'll basically be one of us going for the dressing room door handle and when you open it we end up..six years ago, in like, in Ireland doing a little nightclub kind of thing. And then it goes back and that's the whole movie then and it goes up to present day, then to the end." EDEN: "So it's like the history of Boyzone." RONAN: "Yeah. It's how we began and survived over the last six years." TREY: "So have you seen the five guys who are going to play you?" RONAN: "No, no.." TREY: "Do you input, in choosing in.." RONAN: "Something like..Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.." EDEN: "Ha ha ha! That's a good one." RONAN: "No, I don't know who's playing us." EDEN: "Okay, fair enough."
