Yes, I have to say it is nice to hear her beautiful singing on nice spring mornings. However, sometimes her singing can get a little out of control and turn to this awful, ear-piercing squaking noise. It can get a little anoying at times.
And Yes, I try to keep her cage as clean as possible but I have to tell you that I think she takes great pleasure in watching me clean up all of her many messes. Besides the obvious mess, Crystal also likes to shoot her food and gravel onto the floor of our kitchen. Needless, to say she keeps me busy.
Unfortunately, Crystal doesn't like to carry on a conversation with me. I had hoped when I got her that one day she would talk to me. Well, it hasn't happened yet. People have often told me that it is because I spoil her so much. Her cage is just full of all kinds of little toys and stuff. She has a huge range of ladders, mirrors, bells, and even her own little plastic budgie buddy. What can I say, I like spoiling my animals.
Although Crystal causes me a lot of work and sometimes a rather bad headache, I have to say that I am happy I have her. She is beautiful to look at and she adds a warm, cozy touch to our kitchen.
