"The characteristic temperament of the Siberian Husky is friendly and gentle, but also alert and outgoing. They do not display the possessive qualities of the guard dog, nor are they overly suspicious of strangers or aggressive with other dogs."
"The Siberian Huskies are not only a beautiful dog and willing worker, but also a devoted and delightful companion."
I own one Siberian Husky. Her name is North. North is, in my opinion, one of the best dogs anyone could ever have.
My family and I brought North home when she was 10 weeks old. I have to say that she was the cutest pup I had ever seen. She loved attention and would do just about anything to get it. She wasn't a bad puppy at all (as far as chewing goes). From what I remember, the only mischief she got into was chewing on my Father's slippers, tearing apart a box of kleenex and enjoying a little snack on my Mother's living room coasters. Needless to say, she wasn't that bad.
North is currently three years old. She was born January 15, 1997. She is black & white in color and has the most beautiful blue eyes.
Her ideal day would probably consist of waking the entire house up at 7a.m., playing out in her run for most of day, coming into the house looking for dinner and then spending the rest of the evening with the family.
I have to honestly say, my entire family loves North dearly. She has become a huge part of our family. I cannot imagine life without her now.
Be sure to visit North's Picture Gallery. cdsd@yesic.com
