kfamily Spaghetti

Intro:

Most everyone has their own favorite version of Spaghetti so I thought I would add our own.

Here's what I use:

1lb Leanest Ground Beef (less than 7% fat)

1lb Farmer John Pork Sausage

1 Jar (26oz) of Spaghetti Sauce (I use Classico Tomato & Pesto Pasta Sauce)

Dash (to taste) Schilling (Salt Free) Garlic & Herb Seasoning

1/2 Package (1/2 lb.) of top grade Spaghetti noodles

Parma Cheese (100% Parmesan)

Here's what I do:

Start your water boiling for the noodles because this recipe does not take long to fix. Start browning in a large skillet the Sausage over Medium High. Once it is started and creating some juices add the Ground Beef. Stir and break into small pieces until brown (see image 1). Add Spices to taste (see image 2). Add Spaghetti Sauce (see image 3). I add 1/4 of the Spaghetti Sauce container with water, cover and shake and add to meat. Reduce heat to Simmer and Mix well (see image 4).

Cook noodles aldente (Soft but Firm) by using the minimum time listed on the packaging and removing from water promptly when done. I drain noodles and then return to the pot with a small amount of Olive Oil to prevent sticking.

We like to serve the noodles separate from the sauce with a dash of Parma Cheese (see image 5).
