LAST MEETING (October 1997) -- SET: Secure Electronic Transactions

Christo Vrey, from ABSA Bank, gave an excellent talk explaining Secure
Electronic Transactions on the Internet. Christo is obviously an
accomplished speaker and presenter, holding us spellbound while
describing
the overview of SET. Doing business over the Internet may currently
carry a
warning that  doing so may be hazardous to your wallet', but the time is
almost here where secure transactions will be common place. Some
organizations have already implemented systems and Christo said that he
has
used them to his advantage.
