Competition Results
 7th June 1997 - 5 a side football. We won the over 14s as we were
the only company to field a team.
 26th April 1997 - Cross Country Results:
The final score is worked out from the average places from a team of 3 boys.
The winners:
Anchors - 2nd Darlington
Juniors - 5th Darlington
Under 14s - 5th Darlington
Over 14s - 1st Newton Aycliffe (they had the only over 14 running.
Special naming goes to Darren, who ran in every race from Juniors to over 14s - and won them all!!!
 10th April 1997 - Drill Competition - 2nd place. Not bad. We have won
for the last two years though.
7th December 96 - The Swimming Gala - The swimming was set in order according to age. ie 8-9, 10-11, under 14s, over 14s.
We only entered the under and Over 14s competitions.
Only 2 of our boys took part but we still came 1st in the under 14s and 2nd in the
over 14s.
Well done to all who entered especially Leon and David.

We came second in the under 14s squadron race (relay race of 1 length each) where we borrowed a man from the 2nd Darlington
company.
15th November 1996 - Chess and Draughts Competition - We won the Draughts Competition but
Sadly came 3rd (out of 4) in the chess which was won by the 2nd Darlington Company.
25th October 1996 - Five a side Football,
We have been defeated. Well actually we came third, but only 3 teams played! Better luck next time eh.
