i enjoy your paintings and you are a very good artist, but your
paintings are a little dark so if you could please lighten them a little i would
be able to enjoy them more. thank you and GOD bless
(My comment: I've been noticing the difference in brightness between the paintings on my own computer and on the internet on some other computers. I don't know what the problem is. I would make them a littel lighter if t wasn't for my hardrive which recently I've been unable to access. I'm afraid this problem is terminal and I will have to buy a new HD so all my scanned paintings are lost ( I don't make backups since my HD is too small for that) I will see what I can do. Maybe other people who read this and have the same problem (or not) can e-mail me on vincecm@hotmail.com. Thanks)

I paint using the Bob Ross method as well but i dont do any more
than replicas of the ones he paints on TV, who do you do stuff like space and
dolphins and stuff he doesnt teach? PLLEEEEAASE respiond!

Ik vind je schilderijen erg mooi. Waar heb je eigenlijk je opleiding gehad en hoe schilder je dieren in de Bob Ross techniek? Ik heb zelf de basis cursus Landschap en bloemen gedaan en in november ga ik de vervolg cursus Landschap doen. Ik wens je nog vele jaren schilder plezier.
(Translation: I like your paintings very much. Where were you actually educated and how do you paint animals using the Bob Ross technique. I did the basic Landscape painting course and the flower painting course and in November I am going to do the second landscape painting course. I wish you lots of years of painting pleasure.)
My answer to the question: I make animals using the traditional paintings techniques (but still wet-on-wet) with a very tiny brush. Lately, I use acrylic paints to make animals because I can make a lot more detail with them and it dries much faster.

I am just curious. Is that your portrait in the mountain
peak of the cottage painting? I enjoyed your gallery and I will visit again. My husband was a fan of Bob Ross. He developed a talent for painting after he was injured in Viet Nam. Visiting you gallery brought back fond memories
that I had watching Bob's show with my husband. By the way, my husband would be impressed with your creativity.

I start by commending you for your talents in both painting and web page design. You are evidently very accomplished in both fields. I understand when you say that you use the feedback you get from others. I have always used that same feedback to help push myself to a hopefully higher level.
As for your work, I watched Bob Ross many times and in many ways I'm sure was influenced by him and his technique. I however feel that each person needs to find their own style. I would be curious to see what you would come up with if you had only black and white to work with. Or doing your first portrait.
I'm sure you enjoy doing what you do but I think that after you tire of this style of Bob's you will no doubt go on to even more productive and creative works.
I have sincerely enjoyed my first visit and will be back often since it seems as though you are prolific in your work.

Tell me again, where does the tree live and who's world is it.
It lives any where you want it to and it's your world, you can do any thing you want in your world.

Ik wilde je 'gewoon' even zeggen, dat ik je werk echt mooi vind! Ik schilder (en teken) zelf ook in een heel andere stijl, dat wel. Ik ben overigens op een heel rare manier aan je home page gekomen. Volgens mij werkte alles wel! Ik ben eigenlijk best wel benieuwd of jij alleen schildert, beroep of zo van wil maken, of dat het je hobby 'alleen maar' is. Voor nu in ieder geval, succes ermee!

I enjoyed all of them because I do the same kinds of paintings, but you
should try more sunnier days painting. It seems as if you're telling
me a different story to the paintings then what you painted.
My favorite kind of paintings are acrylic,waterpaint, then oilpainting
landscapings. You should try more up close paintings, so people like
me can see how you do certain detailed works. I've been painting since
I was 10. It's been 9yrs now but I still have minor problems only us
painters can see. Everyone is either to nice to say anything or thinks
it's very good.I like your painting and I won't try to copy them because
then my version won't be the original.
