If you've seen the latest Star Wars movie, you know there is a very interesting difference in the forces of oppression. While in the first 3 movies the Bad Guys used human soldiers, here they use robots.

The robots would seem to have lots of advantages. They do exactly as they're told, never complain, don't need pay or vacations, can't be corrupted, etc. This got me to thinking ...

We all fantasize about fighting the forces of tyranny on our own planet and trouncing them mightily. The trouble is, they've got the troops, while we are just a ragtag bunch of rebels. But what if we had all the advantages? What if, in fact, we had a space-based robot invasion force as depicted in Star Wars?

Here I have indulged in a Libertarian science fiction wet dream. I have supposed that I am (could be) the commander of a robot space army, 1 billion troops strong. I further suppose that I command all the information needed to hit only the guilty and not the innocent, and that my weapons are overwhelmingly better than Their weapons. My ships run on zero-point energy, as do my troops, so they never run out of power. The ships have anti-gravity drives and hover over the areas where they are needed. Finally, just to put a human touch on it, my robots look like real people - they even have individual faces and names so the People can relate to them normally.

The title of this page is "My World Empire" because, lets face it, a transition period is necessary. Simply destroying Government and replacing it with nothing would lead to chaos, and new tyrannies would soon appear. Instead, I plan to manage the transition to anarchy by keeping some semblance of Government while really not governing much. The People will become free sort of inadvertently, as could only happen under a regime determined to NOT preserve its power - mine.

I am also, let's face it, just like any other moralizing curmudgeon in that I have a particular idea about how things should work, and secretly I would love to force my ways down people's throats. If only they'd do as I say, dammit, this World would be SUCH a better place! SO, I've indulged in a little oppression too. Hey, what are empires for?

Before you send me hate mail, consider that I would eventually dissolve my own empire. Also, take a good look at my brand of oppression and compare it to what you have now. Which do you like better?
